Salary Range - $77,642 - $110,202 Family medical/dental/vision Generous company contributions to 401k Relocation Assistance 10 Paid holidays Paid vacation Tuition reimbursement Job Summary The Maintenance Planner will work cross functionally with the planning department to organize and schedule preventive maintenance items on plant equipment.
They will ensure parts are inhouse and ready when needed.
In addition, they will work closely with the maintenance team to order parts and manage inventories.
Essential Functions Responsible for developing and managing the maintenance schedules for the factory.
Reviews weekly PM schedule and kits consumable parts for next day.
Directs the repair, maintenance, and modification of plant equipment.
Manage parts ordering and kits for upcoming maintenance projects.
Manage the parts inventory system.
This includes entering or supervising the entry of all parts transactions such as purchase orders, issues, returns, and inventory adjustments.
This also includes managing blocked invoices.
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform or manage periodic cycle counts and physical inventories.
Provide management with the required reports.
Structures the catalog of critical spare parts required for PM plans and adds them to their corresponding machines.
Work with maintenance group and vendors to ensure necessary parts are on hand while minimizing overall inventory value.
Help develop and maintain procedures for parts and work orders and ensure the plant compliance with these procedures.
Manage the work order system.
This includes entering or supervising the entry of all work order transactions and providing the required reports to management and maintenance.
Review inventories and analyzes relationship to the production plan.
Communicate all schedule changes timely and effectively.
Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience 3 to 5 years of experience in managing maintenance schedules, improvement of maintenance plans.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, as well as planning software/tools (i.
e.
Microsoft D365).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of employees and subject matter experts.
Strong analytical, project and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements.
Language Skills English is required as the spoken language.
A well-modulated tonal volume is required with excellent diction skills needed.
Reasoning Ability Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions given in written, oral, or diagram form.
Must have the ability to discern when issues may require input from levels of authority within the corporation.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must possess or be able to acquire a California Driver's License.

Sitting/Standing/Walking:
During the course of an 8-hour workday, will do all three.
They will walk several hundred feet over uneven surfaces checking production areas as needed.
Lifting/Carrying:
May lift up to 60 pounds on an in-frequent basis.
Pushing/Pulling:
Occasional pushing/pulling is done.
Bending/Stooping:
Both are done regularly during the course of a workday.
Squatting/Kneeling/Crawling:
Squatting, kneeling and crawling are done occasionally.
Twisting/Turning:
Twisting and kneeling are done while doing regular duties.
Climbing/Balancing:
Some vertical ladder climbing required.
Balancing on ladders and machinery sometimes is required if assistance is needed in troubleshooting production or mechanical issues.
Reaching:
Frequently reaching from floor level to shoulder level done during 8-hour workday.
Grasping/Manipulating:
Frequent use of hands and fingers while using hand tools and positioning of machine parts.
