Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the pharmacy department in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize pharmacy services and enhance patient outcomes.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective medication use throughout the hospital.
Oversee medication procurement, inventory management, and distribution processes.
Provide guidance and support to pharmacy staff, fostering a culture of excellence, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Monitor and evaluate pharmacy performance metrics, implementing corrective actions as needed to achieve operational goals.
Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and regulatory changes, integrating best practices into pharmacy operations.

Qualifications:
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.
D.
) degree from an accredited institution.
Current Pharmacist licensure in the state of California.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a hospital pharmacy setting, with previous Director-level experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, including medication management, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and drive positive change.
Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing pharmacy information systems and technology.
