Turlock, CA Turlock, CA Full-time Full-time $27 - $33 an hour $27 - $33 an hour 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago In addition to completion of the RTE (Ready-to-Eat) production matrix, Technical Machine Operators (Level 3) take care of all machine-specific functions such as configuring the equipment, loading and operating the machines, and optimizing the machine capability.
They are expected to ensure that the machine works at its full capacity, oversee its maintenance, and perform timely quality checks.
This is a self-motivated position and should be willing to undergo training if need be, to understand the operations of new equipment.
This position focuses on the process of combining various material inputs in order to produce a finished product for consumers.
Technical Machine Operators are responsible for the manufacturing process, quality assurance, maintenance of the production lines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Start-up/Shut down and adjust machinery when necessary to improve performance and successful operation with minimal loss.
Ensuring production lines are consistently maintaining the expected throughput at all times according to production goals and line efficiency expectations.
Troubleshoot issues and perform routine maintenance of production equipment.
Understanding/Experience with pneumatic systems including air cylinders, MAC valves, solenoids, actuators, regulators, etc.
Understanding/Experience with proximity sensors, photo eyes, reed switches, etc.
Understanding of interfaces and ability to learn controls and set point adjustments Perform quality control checks, change overs, proper documentation, and report problems to supervisor.
Able to work as a team and comply with all safety and company policies.
Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness.
Ability to lift heavy equipment, to bend, and to stand or walk for long periods of time.
Willingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary) Experience with machine operations and technical experience.
Ability to operate different machines and processes involved with the production.
Perform equipment and scale calibrations Monitor and control machine performance and settings.
Ability to problem solve/troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions that may occur with minimal maintenance support Work closely with quality to ensure produced product is correct and accurate.
Regularly complete performance documentation.
Able to successfully maintain line efficiency using lean manufacturing Job Type:
