General Manager The Yogurt Mill Assistant manager must supervise and direct the stores activities and represent the General Manager during each shift worked.
The Assistant Manager must be responsible, self-motivated and a positive Crew Member.
The Assistant Manager position is paid hourly and in order to keep the daily business operations properly, the Assistant Manager will work whatever station position is needed to run the store.
The assistant manager works to provide great Customer service in a friendly, efficient environment and to motivate the staff to provide a consistent, quality product to each and every Customer.
As an assistant manager, there are many tasks that you may be asked to participate in to develop your skills.
Operations Follow opening and closing store procedures.
Assistant Managers will work at least two closing shifts per week.
Assistant Managers will work all day parts to understand roles on each shift Assistant Manager will work mostly PM shifts opposite of the General Manager Review and follow flavor forecast and review promotional schedule and adjust as necessary.
Communicate clearly and accurately to ensure effective store operations.
Assess overall store presentation, must be constantly aware of inside & outside appearance of store.
Maintain all merchandising areas.
Place orders according to management daily duty roster and immediate store needs.
Complete tasks on management daily duty roster.
Confirm daily duty roster tasks are completed to standards.
Confirm rest and meal periods are taken accordingly.
Follow all labor laws.
Assist in labor scheduling and adjust staffing based on business needs.
Assist and conduct scheduled spot checks Customer Service Demonstrate integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the core values and mission of the Yogurt Mill.
Model a Customer first attitude; instill the importance of Yogurt Mill Customer service standards to all Crew Members.
Talk and connect with Customers to understand their needs, addresses their questions or concerns.
Maintain and model calm behavior during high volume periods or unusual circumstances; keep store running smoothly and set a positive example for Crew Members.
Handle any Customer service concerns or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
HR Functions Screen potential new hires Coach and motivate Crew Members.
Monitor Crew Members punctuality in accordance with posted schedule Ensure meal break policy is being adhered to Ensure uniform policy is followed.
Aid in training new Crew Members.
Ensure store is adequately staffed.
Provide feedback on Crew Member performance.
Upholding Company policy and procedures Sales and Marketing Execute store marketing programs.
Create an environment that is Customer focused and represents the best of Yogurt Mill Management Lead store team by example.
Routinely verify that all store operations procedures and checklists are adhered to and completed.
Cash Handling Maintain integrity of all cash, tills and safe funds.
Enforce cash handling procedures.
Verify cashier checkouts and till.
Verify and process all credit card charges at end of day, approve any cash pay outs.
Reconcile daily receipts.
Deposit cash on following business day.
Maintain adequate change levels.
Receiving Verify accuracy of all invoices.
Check in deliveries with driver.
Maintenance and Repair Conduct weekly equipment and facility inspection.
Maintain safety, security and maintenance standards.
Have thorough knowledge of all machines and POS system.
Troubleshoot equipment as needed.
Maintain store cleanliness, and equipment in an A
condition.
Station Skill Expert in every station:
capable of handling high volume business in each station Development.
Meet with Area manager on monthly basis to review goals, operations and plan for development.
Work with Area manager to learn payroll, inventory procedures and scheduling.
Other Insure that all mail, invoices, and documentation are ready for pickup on Monday and Fridays without delay.
Recommend ideas and improvements to store Assistant Managers are required to utilize their personal vehicle for work.
A valid California driver's license and proof of insurance are required of the position.
General Managers are required to follow all state driving laws when conducting business on behalf of Yogurt Mill Inc.
