Job Description:
Full time Automation Dept.
Manager Oversees Automation Department Assists with building maintenance Technical:
Generate programming changes for PLCs Write ladder logic programs for programmable logic controllers; install and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers Make program adjustments to reach production goals Mechanical:
Maintain and troubleshoot machinery and provide documentation Source and replace repair parts for machines and auxiliary equipment Provide preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for injection molding and automation equipment and plant equipment Troubleshoot hydraulics and pneumatics Additional Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Certificate plus 2 years of experience working with PCL controls, logic circuits, pneumatic and electrical equipment.
Knowledge of variable frequency drives.
Required to fluently read, write, and comprehend the English language.
Climb stairs and ladders; comfortable working at heights.
Skilled in the use of programmable logic controllers (mostly Allen Bradley).
Knowledge of motor control and automated control circuits.
Skilled in MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook Knowledge of HMI, SCADA and computer network communication systems Knowledge of plant maintenance Preferred Skills a Plus:
Machining experience Injection Molding experience
Responsibilities:
Oversee automation department Maintain and troubleshoot automation machines Coordinate with production team to meet goals Requisition raw materials Make adjustments to machine programs Assist in building maintenance and maintenance in other departments Keep records and conduct internal audits for BRC standard.
