Job Description Pay Range:
$79,500 to $93,500 per year.
Shift:
Nights ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to supervisors/management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary action).
Consult with supervisors/management, provide HR guidance when appropriate.
Work closely with management and Team Members to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Manage and resolve complex Team Member issues.
Conduct effective and objective investigations.
Recruit exempt and non-exempt Team Members to ensure best candidates possible, are selected.
Partner with the business to drive talent management, succession planning, career pathways, and coaching initiatives for the organization, to support Team Member development.
Assist in driving excellence into the HR organization by creating guidelines, processes and delivering training to the HR TEAM.
Assist with employment branding initiatives to highlight Team Member experiences on social media to attract top talent.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of Team Members, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide great customer service to Team Members who visit the HR Office.
Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
Identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs.
Additional projects, as assigned.
Actively drive and support our safety culture.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, preferred.
2
years of Human Resources experience.
Knowledge of performance management, talent management, safety practices, talent acquisition, Team Member relations, and compensation strategy, with the ability to apply this information in a manner that is compliant with relevant employment law.
Change agent with excellent interpersonal skills.
Active listener with solid written and verbal communication skills.
Strategic thinker with proven ability to drive continuous improvement and results.
Must demonstrate sound HR decision making.
Must be able to coach Team Members and leaders, up to Director level.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and demonstrated experience utilizing HRMS.
Must have a valid CA driver's license or be able to acquire one, and reliable transportation.
Must have consistent and reliable attendance.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
4 years of Human Resources experience.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Ability to read, write and speak Spanish.
