Coordinators have to understand what it takes to make sure the logistics work out, keep everything within the allocated operating standards and create the Banquet Event Order that is then passed on to Operations.
DUTIES:
Answering the phone and booking events with clients.
Meet with potential clients and develop a proposal for events with quotes and prices.
Create the contract and collect deposit from client.
Coordinate details of events such as conferences, wedding receptions, anniversaries, birthday parties, retirement parties etc.
Coordinate and monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
Initiates, coordinates and/or participates in all efforts to market/publicize event.
Will have oversite of all social media and local marketing.
Finalize Banquet Event Order with client and then meet with all department heads to discuss details of the event.
Enter booked events into Tripleseat.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years old.
Previous Sales/Marketing experience Must be available on weekends.
Experience using Tripleseat Management Software is preferred.
