We are seeking a kind, energetic Teacher, a Teacher Assistant, and a Teacher Assistant/Secretary who can happily work with our young children.
We have opportunities in our Infant and Preschool age classrooms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS:
Responsible to perform daily health checks as children arrive at the facility.
Responsible in taking care of a self contained classroom of 10-14 children as a preschool teacher.
Must maintain confidentiality.
Write age appropriate Lesson Plans/Activity Plans in a childcare setting and as an innovative preschool teacher.
Designs, plans and implements daily lesson plan programming for children, including children with disabilities based on each child's assessed developmental needs in a high quality childcare environment.
When assigned, designated preschool teacher will be responsible to administer prescribed medication when applicable.
Must work respectfully, cooperatively and effectively with staff, visitors, parents, other agency representatives and families in a childcare work environment.
Must be consistently supportive of the company and enforce its policies.
Functions as an appropriate positive role model as a preschool teacher.
Supervises and evaluates assigned classroom preschool teacher assistants.
Assists in recruiting eligible children in a childcare setting.
Maintains and submits all records, reports and other documentation in a timely manner in meeting deadlines in a preschool environment.
Must assist center supervisor in implementing program policies in areas required to ensure program compliance.
Must have consistent and regular attendance as a high quality childcare provider.
Must demonstrate ability in working well with others as a preschool teacher, employee, and as a high quality childcare worker.
Integrates areas of the program.
Prepare and maintain classroom records and reports required for individual child, class, and program compliance in a childcare setting/environment.
Maintains adult/child ratio in the classrooms.
Involves parents and community volunteers in the activities of preschool center and supervises their volunteer efforts.
Operates all equipment in a safe manner.
Provides in-service training for preschool assistants, childcare parents, and early childhood education volunteers.
Assists and documents transition activities from home to center, classroom to classroom, and from the center to kindergarten as a high quality childcare provider.
Participates in the training program of the company.
Other duties as assigned.

Ability to:

Ability to speak, read and write English fluently.

Experience:
Experience in childcare setting is preferred Minimum six (6) semester units in Early Childhood Education Minimum three (3) units in Infant/Toddler Development.
Child Development Teacher Permit preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit at a desk, conference table or in meeting rooms of various configurations for varying amounts of time as a preschool teacher.
Ability to see, read and distinguish colors, with or without vision aids, instructional materials, rules and policies and other printed materials.
Ability to speak in audible tones so that other may understand clearly in normal conversations and as a preschool teacher.
Ability to walk on uneven terrain, play yards and school grounds in a childcare setting.
Physical agility to lift and carry from 10-40 pounds; and to bend, stoop walk, reach overhead, and stand as many as four hours per day.
Physical agility to push/pull, squat, twist, and turn as a preschool teacher.
Ability to drive with valid state of California driver's license and insurance required for privately owned automobiles.
TB clearance every two (2) years as a requirement in a childcare setting and as a preschool teacher.
SALARY RANGE:
$16.
00-$22.
00/hour plus benefits.
Commensurate to position, education and experience.
