We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting AR Specialist to join our team in the Manufacturing industry.
This role will be an integral part of our finance department, providing expertise in accounts receivable, intercompany account reconciliations, payment applications, and month-end closing.
The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of SAP, be proficient in Microsoft Excel, and have experience with ACH payments.
This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of the Agriculture and Manufacturing sectors is a plus.
Responsibilities:
As a Consulting AR Specialist, you will be responsible for:
1.
Managing all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoicing, cash application, and customer account reconciliations.
2.
Performing intercompany account reconciliations and ensuring accurate and timely month-end closing.
3.
Applying and reconciling payments accurately and efficiently, identifying any discrepancies and resolving them promptly.
4.
Posting payments and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
5.
Working with the billing team to ensure accurate and timely billing of all products and services.
6.
Leveraging your knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
7.
Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
8.
Assisting with other finance-related tasks as required.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1.
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
3.
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
4.
Experience with intercompany account reconciliations, applying and reconciling payments, and month-end closing.
5.
Familiarity with ACH payments and the ability to post payments accurately and efficiently.
6.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
7.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with other departments.
8.
Knowledge of the Agriculture and Manufacturing sectors is a plus.
