Clinical Laboratory Scientist- 7 on/ 7 off Nights, $7K sign-on bonus!
Large tertiary care hospital located in the Turlock, CA area seeks full-time licensed CLS (Clinical Laboratory Scientist).
Under the supervision of the section supervisor, the Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs generalized and specialized assignments or functions in clinical laboratory technology. The position is primarily responsible for evaluation, correlation, monitoring and reporting of the results of an examination of biological specimens for the purpose of obtaining scientific data which is used to determine the presence, progress and source of disease or physiological condition.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
1.Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, related field or equivalent.
2.Must posses a valid California Clinical Laboratory License.
3.Minimum one year experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in a clinical laboratory in an acute care facility.
4.Must have a minimum of six months computer experience.
5.Must demonstrate technical skills in all areas of the general laboratory.
6.Ability to manage own time and schedule own tasks.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
1.ASCP certification desirable.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
