Maintenance Technician - $1,000 Sign On Bonus!This role is at a Dairy Foods manufacturing facility for Land O'Lakes, creating dairy products that stand for real, simple goodness.

The Maintenance Technician level 4 is responsible for a variety of highly skilled task that include but not limited to:
monitoring, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining plant processing, facility and support equipment.
Follow all Safety, GMP, LO/TO, PPE, NFPA70e, food safety processes, and other Land O'Lakes guidelines and site specific policies including imminent danger.
Diagnose, repair, or replace faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards, I/O cards, temperature sensors and pressure controls.
Maintains, diagnoses, troubleshoots, adjusts, repairs, rebuilds and overhauls operating equipment and systems including, but not limited to, electrical, refrigeration, pneumatics, hydraulic, computers, and relays.
Troubleshoot, remove, and/or replace faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, motors, valves and position sensing devices.
Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as motors, gear boxes, lighting fixtures, and replace damaged or broken wires, cables and sensors and other related equipment.
Safely diagnose problems and determines the repairs or adjustments on plant equipmentOrganize, cleans and maintain workshop area, secures plant when necessary at the end of shift.
Enters paperwork and work orders for maintenance records such as materials, parts, and time.
Communicate and work effectively with co-workers and machine operators.
May fill in for departmental absences to perform other related work as assigned.
May be required to work overtime, some production/maintenance and/or project weekends.

18 years or older3 or more years of industrial maintenance experience or 5
years as a intermediate level mechanic, preferably in the food processing/packaging industry.
Experienced in use of hand tools, power tools and test equipment (meters, dial indicators, etc.
)Basic computer skillsCommunicates work order progress to supervisor and production operatorsAbility to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and possess basic mathematical skillsPossess mechanical aptitude.
Some experience with mechanical systems, utilizing product manuals, troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns, and reading mechanical drawings.

Working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, you will be walking, standing and engaging in movement throughout the day, and occasionally to frequently be required to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Due to a large variety of job duties (both routine and non-routine), certain duties also may involve, a variety of physical activities including bending, lifting, stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms above shoulders and head, standing, working in enclosed areas, climbing stairs or ladders, and operating heavy machinery.
The noise level in the work environment can vary but noise is usually low to moderate.
You may be required to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety gloves, hearing protection, a respirator or dust mask, protective footwear and protective clothing or uniforms.
